NON-VIOLENCE X SHAI DAHAN

FRAGILITY OF PEACE

Shai Dahan is an American contemporary artist and muralist recognized for his large-scale and dynamic art pieces, including the world’s largest 18-meter-tall Dala Horse in Manhattan, NY.

In 2024, Shai was appointed a Non-Violence Ambassador for Peace. He created his own interpretation of the Knotted Gun, auctioning the original sketch of the symbol at a vernissage to benefit The Non-Violence Project.

Following this, Shai began live-painting his design onto a 100 cm sculpture during an event in Malmö. Over the next three days he moved the sculpture outdoors and continued his work on the streets of Malmö while engaging with the people passing by.

Shai’s design, titled Fragility of Peace, is crafted to resemble porcelain, symbolizing how delicate peace can be. When asked about the artwork, he remarked: “Peace is fragile, and as long as we tend to it and take care of it, hopefully, we can preserve it for future generations”.

The sculpture is hand-painted resin in Limited Edition. It comes with an exclusive gift box and a certificate.
