Which data we store and how we use it

Non-Violence Licensing SA collects customer user data in order to deliver a seamless and safe service for customers. We collect data for the following reasons:

1. To be able to complete purchases.
2. To be able to complete deliveries.
3. Through contact with our customer service team.
4. Through our newsletters and other marketing communication.
5. Through web analytics for a user friendly experience.

This data may include your name, delivery and billing address, email address, contact numbers and specific purchase details. Please see attachment 1 for detailed information about the information gathered.

In addition to data collection, we automatically receive your IP address when you browse our website, in order to transfer information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. This is not connected to any personal information.

On what basis are we storing your personal data?

The European union has set up a number of lawful bases for storing customer data, such as legal basis and consent. Please see attachment 1 for a specification of which lawful basis we have for each type of activity related to your communication with us.

How do we get your consent to use and store your personal data?

The information collected when placing an order is based on legal requirements.

With your consent (where required), we use your Personal Data to provide you with information about goods or services (e.g. marketing communications or campaigns or promotions).

This can be done via means such as email, ads, SMS, phone calls and postal mailings to the extent permitted by applicable laws.

Your right to withdraw your consent

You have the right to withdraw your consent of any personal data processed by Non-Violence at any time apart from the following situations:

1. You have an ongoing case with Customer Service.
2. You have placed an order which has not yet been processed and shipped.
3. For all purchases made, we will keep your personal data in collection to your transaction for bookkeeping purposes.

Security

In order to protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry practices to make sure that your information is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

Personal data is not transferred to third parties apart from:

Authorities on statutorygrounds. We are required to pass on your personal information to third parties when applicable law requires so. For example, sending information to authorities for the sole purpose of tracking criminal activities and/or protecting public security.

Authorized partners that needs specific information in order to complete your purchase. We transfer data to the following partners:

• Logistic partners for delivery.
• Payment partners for payment
• IT-partners, whom we need to run our services, such as hosting partners and customer service software.

A. Completing a purchase

Purpose of data collection

• Delivery of ordered product/service.
• Handling of payment (including analyzing what payment methods that should be offered and performance of credit checks).
• Fetching the customer’s address from external sources.
• Handling of returns.

Types of personal data

• Name
• Contact Information (address, email, phone number)
• Payment information (method of payment, transaction time)
• Order information, for example, products ordered

B. Handling of customer service tickets

Purpose of data collection

• Communication with the customer and responding to incoming requests via email and social media.
• Handling of complaints, returns, and support requests.

Types of personal data

• The email address used for the contract.
• The correspondence between the customer and customer service.
• IP address, GeoIP, Shopping Cart, and browser information to help assist with technical issues on the website (*only stored when contact is made through our contact form online).

C. Newsletters and other marketing communication

Purpose of data collection:

Inform customers regarding news, discounts, event invitations, gifts or other marketing.
