Drums for Peace

Beatles legend Ringo Starr is a global Non-Violence ambassador. The British musician is known for his political engagement in which he repeatedly inspires and invites musicians to unite behind the Non-Violence Project with the aim to stop the violence that mainly affects young people.

The Knotted Gun statue was originally created by Swedish artist Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd as a memorial tribute to John Lennon. Ringo has made his own design of the statue called Drums for peace.

In 2011 Ringo joined the Non-Violence team at the Knotted Gun unveiling held exclusively in the Gibson Guitar Studio in London. In an urgent call to action, Ringo then urged musicians from across genres and generations to unite behind The Non-Violence Project.

The sculpture is hand-painted resin in Limited Edition. It comes with an exclusive gift box and a certificate.
